Founded in 2022 in Tokyo, Japan, Kinship (Kinship JP Ltd.) is a marketplace for new luxury clothing, footwear and accessories. We connect you with a network of established luxury retail Partners, primarily in Japan, and handle the order, the authentication step, dispatch and customer care from there. Our founders, Takashi Nishimura and Yukihiro Ōta, have always been passionate Italian and French shoe and clothing collectors, and wanted to share their enthusiasm for the brand with the rest of the world.

When you buy, the purchase contract for the piece is between you and the Partner that supplies it, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Every Partner is accepted only after a thorough audit and a full business background check. Our Partner Network includes only established retailers that sell new products. We never sell second-hand items. Every item passes professional third-party authentication plus our own quality-control checks before it reaches you.
